A show called "The Outdoor Craftsman" is developing a series on the shooting sports for public television.

While there are many shooting programs on TV, they are invariably on premium cable channels. I think this kind of exposure on PBS will be good for us, especially if its attractive to women who don't shoot.

I am confident that if its on PBS, it will be completely unbiased and not a hit piece, at all. ;-)

Did you look at "The Outdoor Craftsman" web site? Their topics include second-amendment issues, hunting, sport shooting, and the military. Other than that, they cover sports and recreational activities.

PBS isn't what it was a decade ago. Pres. Bush put a bunch of conservatives in charge. Nearly all their shows are produced by third parties, and they are more "fair and balanced" than they used to be.

I did indeed. I just never underestimate the capacity of government radio and a good antigun film editor. :smilelol5:

This is good news, IMO. Not only does it give us some good entertainment, it introduces to the American public at large, to the shooting sports, and guns in general. It will show the people who are not familiar with guns what they are about, and how to handle guns safely. I can't wait for the series to start up.
