Get ready for it. Sotomayor may already have the opinion that we are not allowed to defend ourselves or our family or property. And if she doesn't already she may look to see how this case is resolved to make up her mind. Never mind our own civil rights.

That's why we have the Constitution & bill of rights (specifically, the 2nd amendment), to protect us form the tyranny of the government .

The English voted Winston Churchill out of office after he led them through WW II. Perhaps the majority of the English don't like to be free from crime and oppression?

Like the police say, that is what we are here for, to serve and protect. How about hunt and arrest. I wonder about some of these things that schools do. They have a no hit policy even if your child is hit first, they cannot strike back in self defense. Does it all start here? My grandkid's best friend got slapped around on the playground for 2 days and on the 3rd he hit the kid back and a teacher saw it and both kids got suspended for one week.

More stuff like this and Governor Perry's 10th amendment reasons may come to fruition. :txflag:
