Ease my mind or make the fear worse......

Already sent off the CHL Packet back in June. Upon taking my CHL class, I asked my instructor about my past. I had a DWI in 02, which I sent in documentation on with my packet. However, I had a theft charge back around 2000 that was dismissed, not deferred. My instructor told me I didn't need to send in documenation on it if the charge was dismissed, so I didn't. Now after reading up on this forum, I'm second guessing myself.
Does anyone know the "rules" on a situation like this? Do they require documentation on a dismissal? If so, what can I do from here? Would they reject my application or just ask for documenation? Please advise.

He was wrong, you have to list all arrests and their dispositions.
I'd call 'em.

Thanks nitrogen, I've called and am currently on hold with them right now. Hope there's something I can do. *fingers crossed*

Just talked with DPS. Apparently there are requesting new pictures, as mine were too "grainy". I had just checked my status this morning, and it hadn't mentioned anything about it. Supposedly the letter is already sent.
As for the dismissed charge, she said it isn't a deal breaker. Told me that it just gives them an idea of what to be looking for. She said not to worry about it, and if they needed documentation for some reason, they'd send me a letter. Guess we'll see. At least I got a heads up about my pictures.

in the meantime , if is not too much of a hassle , you may want to acquire documentation about that incident .
it wouldn't hurt to have it ready in case they request it .
