Gun buying out of control !! I thought i heard my three Kimbers saying that they needed an Ed Brown Commander 45 ACP for a big brother !! does any body else hear these voices I there such a thing as hand guns anonymous ??

Don't laugh, but ya know, that's a true emotion. I felt it I don't know how many times when I set up at the Ft.Worth or Dallas Market Hall gun shows. And nothing would quench the thirst.....except quenching the thirst!

I think I've decided that I need a smaller handgun for certain circumstances. A Full Size 1911 is fine, and my 3" will probably work for most situations, however, if I have to go even more concealed, I'm going to need something a might bit smaller.

... Of course, it's caliber will start with .4... but I'm thinking with a '0' after it rather than a '5'...

I'm not going pocket carry, as my pockets are already full on a daily basis.
I can't believe I'm considering this.. but maybe a.... plastic gun.....
Do they make the XD SubCompact in .40?

Back in the early days of the jogging craze in the 1970s, there used to be a Joggers Anonymous. If you felt an uncontrollable urge to go running, you could call their 800 number, and someone would come over to your house with a six-pack of beer and a bag of pretzels. Maybe if there is a Handguns Anonymous, when you call their 800 number, they rat you out to your wife and she handles the dissuasion.
