I want to buy a front poket gun or maybe a back pocket gun..lol
I have a 642, but I was looking at the KelTech .380 or the .32 or
the Ruger LCP What do y'all think?

I think either is an excellent choice, as both are about the same size, and capacity.
Lonewolf & I were looking at those 2 this afternoon after our range practice. We were commenting how great they are.
USA1 has an LCP. They are most concealable for front or rear pocket carry. Good choice. And I vote for the .380 over the .32.

Ammo may be the only issue with a .380 but things may get better on that front soon.
We have a .380 Bersa which is easy to conceal but I have no experience with the .32. The Bersa kicks a little but that is to be expected. Which are you leaning towards?

I hear ya.
I carry a Glock 19, but it takes some hiding especially in business casual clothes. The Bersa simply slips into the pocket with no problems.

i have the LCP , which is virtually the same as the KelTech
you just can't beat the size as far as pocket carry goes .
i just got a Desantis Nemesis Holster
works like a champ to keep the gun upright and not print .
now how can you look at that and not want one ?

I have both a 642 and a P3AT. I almost never carry the Keltec... ...maybe once every four or five months. I carry the revolver about once every week or two. Both get front pocket or back pocket carried, but the 642 turns out to be a much better carry weapon — for me, anyway..

just my personal experience, but the KT P32 (second grneration) is far more reliable than the KT P3AT (first or second generation), and probably the LCP as well. Just be sure and add the rimlock kit to the P32 for a bit of added relaibility to the magazines you intend to carry jhp's in. I really don't care about the caliber wars, a SD "belly gun" is just that. Close range, rounds on target, and the P32 is MUCH more controllable for follow-up shots, and the slide lock back on last round is nice too... the P3AT and LCP do not lock back, although the LCP has a "manual" slide lock (for whatever reason Ruger thought necessary). I have had KT's for several years, but never pocket carry, other than jacket pocket occassionally. For many years I have used a thin IWB holster to carry a KT in my left cowboy boot for those dress style days that just don't lend themselves to IWB or OWB, and the KT's will hide nicely. Your overall size, body build and dress style obviously has a big impact on what and how you carry. You can dress around the KT or LCP pretty easily.

I'll go ahead and tout the LCP. Had mine since last fall. Really have grown fond of the little gun. Never had any problems with it, except the recall of course. But even that was quick and professional, and netted me a spare mag and grip extension. No FTF, no broken parts, no problems.
With said grip extension (bought two more Pearce versions) and Crimson Trace laser, the gun shoots surprisingly well. Very controllable, doesn't kick too bad as some have suggested (IMHO, YMMV). I am very confident in this little gun when I need it. The CT laser is almost a must-have, IMHO, because the stock open "sight" is really just a shallow channel on the slide with a little "hump" at the end near the muzzle (a true point-shoot only gun without an alternate sighting system like the CT laser).
But, like TAM, I also have a Smith J-frame and find myself pocket carrying it more often (especially in daytime). The LCP has become my pocket gun for night excursions (because of the laser - and lack of same on my J-frame) but more importantly, it is the gun I turn to if I just can't fit anything else amongst my attire for the day (better than nothing, and better than carrying a little .25 or .22 - LCP is actually smaller than a Beretta Tomcat).
The LCP serves an important - though limited - specialized role in my arsenal. I'm glad to have it and recommend it to anyone as a good secondary/alternate carry gun.
And, BTW, the LCP is SUBSTANTIALLY smaller than a Bersa .380. The Bersa - though a great gun, and a phenomenal gun for the money - is a difficult pocket carry for me - doesn't fit my pocket as well as the Smith J-frame even (likely because of the inherently "long" design and longer barrel).

I have two LCP's and carry one daily. It is so easy to conceal...

Stick with your 642. Better quality build, better SD rounds available for it. Save yourself some money.

I carry a Kahr MK40 most every day. Don't usually carry it in my pocket though. For pocket carry, I have it's smaller sib: The Kahr PM9. Granted, it's a bit larger and heavier than either the Kel-tec or the LCP. But, it's a 9mm. When I have it loaded with Corbon 115 gr DPX, I don't feel under protected. Just my .02 worth.
Here's a look at my MK40. The PM9 at the smith getting it's slide bead blasted...so no pic is available.
