They are OK I guess but most REALLY serious trainers advise against add on magwells because they make inserting a magazine without a bumper pad almost impossible. Could cost you a stage in IDPA or IPSC or, your life on the street. I don't have them on my guns and won't have them. Mr. Murphy lurks everywhere.

I have no need for a magwell on a CCW.

Nothing wrong with magwells, it's all a matter of personal likes and dislikes.

I have big hands, I prefer magwells because the little bit of extra length adds to a stable grip.

I've been shooting for 42 of my 60 years.. In 'Nam and as a LEO, it was with what was issued to me. These days, I go with what suits me and what feels comfortable to me.... not on what anyone else might or might not have an opinion about. I will listen to the opinion and advice of others, but will always defer to what my experience tells me that is best for me.

I have magwells on several of my Kimbers already, and I am converting the rest as retirement funds permit.

I only use Wilson magazines, all have bumper pads.

For the OP, I would hesitate to use the grips you asked about. I would not want to take a chance on the rubber 'magwell' flexing at the wrong time.
