Glock 27 vs 23 IWB?

I am trying to decide between the two. Does anyone have experience with either/both IWB? At first thought, I thought that the 27 would be best. However, with the short grip, would it be hard to draw as opposed to the 23?

Carried G23 for a number of years in a Galco Royal Guard/Summer Comfort. Worked very well, until my midsection began to swell. If you're a reasonably in-shape guy, either should carry well, with obvious edge to longer barrelled G23. Grip issue on G27 easily corrected with various sizes of Pearce grip extensions.

I have both, well . . . actually my wife has both . . . and I see no difference in the ability to draw it from a holster. I like the 23 better, but that's a personal choice. The shorter grip of the 27 could make a difference in concealability, but not much unless you are pretty thin. The 27 has pretty sharp recoil and follow-up shots are slower.

like austinrealtor said you can change the grip on a G27 with extensions on the magazines and you can even use a G23 magazine in a G27 with a spacer.

I like the modular concept. You can always make a small gun bigger. A G23 or a G32(357sig) barrel will work in a G27, it just sticks out of the front of the slide 1/2".
If you have a concealability situation you can carry the G27 with a stock 9 round mag. I carry a G33 with a 13 round G32 magazine and the spacer. I have a stock 9 round mag and another one with a + one extension. I bought a G23 barrel if I want to use 40 S&W. I carry a 15 round G31 magazine for a spare. Glocks and leggos, you gotta love um! I bought a G31(full size 357sig) for a house gun. I chopped the grip so it will take the G32 mags since I have a number of them.
