According to Texas3006.com it appears that they do have 30.06 signs posted. The legality of the 30.06 sign at the location is unclear. They are white lettering on clear glass with english to one side and spanish to the other side. Then of course there is the question of it being city owned. This was the comment on that as posted by the site's moderator Russell:
The law states that any property owned by a governmental entity can not post legally enforceable 30.06 signs. The land which The Hobby Center sits on is leased from the City of Houston.
One argument is that any permanent improvements upon leased land (The building) will automatically become the property of the owner of the land (The City of Houston). In addition, another argument is that the law is clear when it says property, and regardless of whether or not the building is owned by the city, since the land is owned by the city that makes the 30.06 signs not enforceable.
There is currently no case law or AG opinion regarding this particular issue, so it is up to the CHL holder if they want to be a test case.
