Another choice is Testor's fluorescent orange, available in hobby stores.

Over the years I have probably painted more sights than you can shake a stick at with model paint. I used to use the orange paint that I got as a kid when I built my model of the General Lee from Dukes of Hazzard.



Have also used a super bright white that almost glows at dusk or with any little bit of ambient light source. Sure makes for a lot quicker sight acquisition!!

i guess the model soda machine and model buildings add to the realism .

Guess I should have added the disclaimer: Model not to actual size or dimensions.

Ive used my wifes nailpolish before on a set of heine sights just to get a faster shot off and although its not proper i believe that it helped a small amount to relocate my sights after a shot
