Funny CONVERSATION/DISCUSSION/DISCOURSE at the Grocery Store

I stopped at the store last night to pick up some groceries on my way back in town. I'd grabbed what I needed, but stopped at the magazine rack to see if they had anything I might want to read. I'm standing there looking at the newest "Combat Handguns" magazine, and the butcher walks past me. "Great magazine" he said. I smiled and nodded. Then he shared "but Glocks are the only way to go". "Why" I asked him "because those are easily concealed" he replied. (obviously the economy has forced rocket scientists to take on part time butcher work). I said "Springfield is my choice", and he said "No, if you had one of those, everyone would know you're carrying". I smiled, he walked off, and I tugged at my belt to adjust my XDm under my shirt tucked neatly away in my SuperTuck, and headed to the checkouts.
Cracked me up.....
Oh, and don't waste your money on the magazine...nothing noteworthy in this issue...

Hmmmm, Glocks are great guns and all, but hardly the only choice that can be concealed. Maybe he was trying to sale you a glock! Seems like he is kind of an odd fellow. Perhaps he should have been pushing the specials at the meat counter instead!

funny, I conceal my Hi-point C9 (9mm) as my daily carry weapon and have not ever been looked at cross eyed. There are those that love "their" brand of gun and think that there is no other that comes close.

Don't go there/their/they're. On the internet, it's impolite to/too/two point out illiteracy in any of its forms.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who can drop a thread down the toilet with semantics.
Had a guy at WalMart tell me he carries a .45 because he only wants to shoot once. I laughed, and said, "You must be a really good shot!"
he, of course, conceded that he was...

Great storey. Have a XD45 4 inch and a sub compact 40 cal in 3 inch. Love them both and easy to carry. I love owning a gun that im very confident will shoot if ever needed. Not saying a Glock wouldnt I just know that my XD has never failed to fire either round.
