I have been pretty well set on a Glock 33 for my next gun buy. Then I got to handle (not shoot) a G32. Man....the 32 feels great. Give me some input on the G32 vs G33. Is there any place in the DFW metro area that I could rent and shoot both ???

Check with the Bullet Trap in Plano or DFW Gun Range in Dallas and see what they have available for rent.

And, welcome to the forum!

The shooting range at Winchester Gallery in Fort Worth has a dozen or so Glock's you can rent, if you're on the F.W. side of the Metroplex.

You can make a G33 feel like a G32 and have the best of both.

Here are some additional Glock suggestions:
The G33, G27 are the smallest frames. They can use the G32/23 barrels and the barrel will stick out about 1/2" from the slide. Longer barrel more velocity.

The G33 can use a 13 round G32/23 magazine or a 15 round G31/22 magazine. They both stick out the bottom of the grip.
You can buy a magazine spacer to put on the G32 magazine that makes the grip just like a G32/23 pistol.

I have a flat bottom 9 round G33 mag for use when I need the smallest gun possible. ie. SmartCarry holster.
I have a 9 round mag with a + one pinky extension. It makes the gun a little easier to grip & shoot. I have a G32 13 round mag with the spacer on it. It makes the gun even easier to hold on to and IWB concealment with a 'camp shirt' or a jacket is no problem at all. The 15 round G31 mag is my spare mag that I carry no matter how I have the gun setup."

I carry my G33 with the G32 magazine and spacer most of the time.
Note: You can change only the barrel and shoot 40 S&W. You can get an aftermarket conversion barrel (lone wolf, Storm Lake, EFK, Bar-Sto, etc.) and shoot 9mm for less expensive target practice.

Hey Thanks. That is some great information.

The 33 was my first Glock, and I haven't stopped buying them since. I chose the 357 sig chambering because IMHO it is the best combo of velocity/vs weight. I also carry 357 magnum revolvers for the same reason. I bought the 33 because I wanted the most concealable gun, I even wear it as an ankle gun sometimes. I have Pearce grip extenders on all my magazines for it as well. But the 32 is my favorite. Not too big, not too small. I carry it IWB rig, fanny pack, shoulder rig, no problems concealing it. The 31 is a bit large, if I still lived in Colorado where you wear a jacket most of the year that can conceal a belt holster, I would carry it. The 33's recoil is pretty sharp, but I think less severe than even a steel framed 357 magnum. The 32 is easier to control, and I've never pinched my hand doing a mag change on it. Also you get the accesory rail for a light (which I highly recommend) or laser, or even one of those new goofy pistol bayonets.

Bottom line I don't think you can go wrong with either, I would keep my 32 though if I could only have one. Welcome to the wonderful world of Glock!

I am curios though, any particular reason you have decided on the 357 SIG?

My FIL is a range master at one of the area gun ranges. He gets the opportunity to shoot a lot of pistols and revolvers. He highly recommends the .357 Sig. The other plus is he has a ton of brass, bullets, dies, and anything else I need to reload. From my research I know its fast and hits hard with not to severe recoil.
