Did anyone else see this article?

It must have taken some real guts to draw a pistol on three guys with AK's. The manager was credited with probably saving the life of the officer behind the counter.

I guess he did what he had to do. But this seems worse than some IDPA scenarios....

I'm glad to hear the officer and customers are alright. That manager deserves a medal.

Nothing you can make up can compete with reality. The old truth stranger than fiction story.

Missed this one. Thanks for posting it Scott!

"The masked men pointed their guns at the officer and prevented him from drawing his weapon, police said. They then ordered everyone -- four customers and four employees -- to get on the floor. At that time, the store manager grabbed a pistol and fired at the gunman standing closest to the police officer.

The shot disoriented the robbers, and the officer then drew his gun and opened fire. The officer shot the gunman standing closest to him."

Fantastic team effort on the part of the manager and officer.

I was in Houston the last two days and saw it on the news. Pretty crazy to go into a Pawnshop where they sell guns expecting to rob the place. Every pawn shop in Houston that I've visited had an offduty uniformed officer working security.
