We're invited to a social outing at a LMRA picnic Pavillion and just trying to find out if the recreation area is posted 30.06 or not.

I read that the LMRA is separate from their plant facility and are a privately owned nonprofit organization: http://www.lmra.org/AboutLMRA.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Can someone shed some light? We've got a commute out there from here in Grapevine. Thanks

I don't have a definitive answer but I can tell you that LMT's corporate policy is strongly anti-gun. They are basically my families business (I'm going to be 4th generation working for them) and I can tell you they have signs posted everywhere and employees are taught to fear the wrath of even having a gun in their car....

They have a sign with a picture of a gun and the circle/slash thing at the gate. No valid PC 30.06 sign. If you're not an LM employee then getting fired is not a concern. :)

Don't mean to offend anyone (one of my relatives worked for Lockheed for more than 10 years and made phenomenal money doing work that helped defend our great nation), but I find it the absolute height of arrogance and hypocrisy for a military defense contractor, which builds/sells/markets some of the deadliest war machines ever devised, to so rabidly anti-gun.

Now that I know they are anti-gun, I'm glad the Pentagon canceled their F-22 contracts.

I certainly won't be buying any of their multi-million dollar products "anymore" "rlol"

LOL, I agree with you 100%. I can't stand how certain people in positions of power fear everything they don't fully understand. It's not like I work for them yet...I don't graduate college until May. And in the current job market I kinda need to take what I can get... :???:
