This is an old story from earlier this year, but I am just now finding out about it. Is there an validity to it at all?

According to the story, Wyoming has cancelled all reciprocity with all but 8 states listed at the bottom of the story. Texas is not one of the 8 on the list. If I'm reading the story correctly, it would mean that Wyoming no longer accepts Texas CHL. I thought at one point they did, but I could be all together wrong on this issue.

Not sure if this is in fact valid or if there has been an update to this issue since the story was published. The story is from February 2009 and a quick search here didn't yield anything for me.

Anybody know where we really stand with Wyoming as of today? I'm not able to access the Handgunlaw website to further research.

Yea and here is a story from the NRA on the reversal of that original decision. Looks like the folks in Wyoming raised enough stink to force a reversal of this bad decision. Good Job Wyoming.

I hope they did, I carried all the way across Wyoming, including in the Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody, earlier this month.

Speaking of the Buffalo Bill Museum, there were so many guns in there that I became dizzy just looking at them. It's a "must see" if ever you're in the neighborhood.

I love it. I know of at least 3 states that have Buffalo Bill Museums. That always cracked me up as a kid in Colorado, that everybody and their brother claimed Buffalo Bill as one of its own.

When I was a kid, one of my school Coaches and good friend from church was Barry Cody. He was the Great-Grandson of Buffalo Bill.

My friend's cousin...has an EX-girfriend who smelled like a Buffalo...but she isn't related to Buffalo Bill, what so ever.
I've lived in Colorado, and I've gotta' agree, those States really play up tha' Ole' West and having Buffalo Bill as their resident.

It looks as if they still honor Texas CHL.

I will second that about the Buffalo Bill Historical Center & Firearms Musuem in Cody. That is not to be missed if you ever get a chance to go and care anything about firearms or plains history. That is one of the finest musuems in the country. I would rank it and the National Cowboy Heritage Museum in OKC as arguably the best of their breed and size.

One thing about that area is it a little more genuine than some of the more tourist looking places you find in some areas.

If you go, remember things in that part of the country are few and far apart, so plan accordingly.
