OK, so the better half put her hands on a Kel-Tec (admittedly not a P11) and she hated the feel of the grip, her attention move to a NAA Guardian and she liked how that felt in her hand.

Has anybody got one and would care to share experiences/thoughts?

Her thinking is that she wants a small pocket pistol as a backup to her G19. (Actually she loved the feel of the G26 but she felt it wouldn't be that much smaller than her G19).

We have a Bersa 380 and it hasn't exactly filled us with confidence in it's reliability and we are still running it in somewhat. We don't want to go from bad to worse on FTF's.

Edit: I have just read several reports that say that the trigger pull is heavy and that it kicks like a mule....so maybe this isn't the gun for the little lady. G26 is looking better and better

I have one and carried it for a long time, both as a backup gun and as an off duty gun. I like it. But, the trigger pull is long and heavy and the pistol does kick quite a bit. Also, the sights are fairly small and hard to see.

The gun comes with two magazines. One has the little finger hook on it and one does not. You will see a noticeable change in the handling of it between the two magazines.

So, what I came up with is that if you ever needed it for what it was designed for, it is a great gun and you will not notice the problems. This is a great self defense at close range pistol. You pull it and start squeezing the trigger and you are close enough to just point it in the general direction and not aim. The nickname "belly gun" is quite appropriate.

But, it is not a fun gun to shoot for practice. If you need to teach someone to shoot, this is not the gun for it. Their accuracy will go way down as they try to control the trigger when there is no adrenaline. The accuracy will suffer from the small and hard to see sights.

But for close combat when you cannot carry bigger, it is hard to beat.

I have a 380.
It's a bit heavy, but has NEVER failed to go bang. Great pocket gun, and for what it's intended (IMHO) I highly recommend.

I have a .32NAA Guardian and although it is very small for my big hands, I feel confident carrying it as a backup or for those times when I can't carry a real gun.

The .380 necked down to .32 with CorBon 60gr JHP seems to expand reliably in gel and clay.

I have noticed a slight difference between gripping with the different mags as noted above, which is why I bought a couple of extra with the finger hook.

The hard trigger pull is hardly noticeable under stress, such as using it in an IDPA BUG match, and I have shot up to my ability in those matches with what I consider to be a fine little gun.

This past year I added a CTC laser grip to it and have it sighted point blank at 7 yards, which was kind of a chore, and a little expensive considering I wanted to sight it in with the carry ammo.

I like it.
