Texas Youth Season......

.......starts out with a bang!!!
My 14 year old daughter tagged a deer this morning. (7 pointer). Today is the opening day of the "youth only" season. Words can't describe how proud I am!

I like it! Very nice! My 9 year old daughter looked at the picture and said "Whoa! She must practice a lot!"

She practices mostly with a .22 rifle. The .243 she shot the deer with is only fired about 3-4 times before the season to sight it in and then 1-2 shots during the season at deer. This was the first hunting shot of the year.
