Guys,
I'm looking around for a SA, or a DA/SA compact 9mm that's about the size of my wife's Bersa Thunder (approx. 3 inch barrel, 6 inch overall length, 1.25 thickness); and it needs to be $350, or less. I absolutely love my wife's Bersa Thunder .380, but a Bersa compact 9mm is hard to come by around here. The Bersa trigger pull is HEAVENLY DA and SA.
I'm seriously considering a 13+1 Taurus Millennium that's $319 @ Academy. I've got an LCP, which I love, but this time I want something that'll lengthen my confident personal range from 10 feet to 20 feet, and with a little better round capacity. What do you guys think? I just wish the S&W Sigma didn't have such a rough, heavy trigger, 'cause they're giving them away with the $50 rebate.

Check out the new Taurus Slim 709. They are running about $379 IIRC and would be a great pistol for your wife.

I have a Taurus PT-111 Millenium Pro that I love. However, there was another message string on here about a safety issue when they're dropped. It seems there have been some reports that they have discharged when dropped. I haven't heard any such reports about the Taurus 709 and the price is still right. Just a thought....

Walther 9mm. The variable clip size means the smallest clip is tiny. I checked it against a Bersa .380 and it was just a hair bigger. Definitely in the same size range. Here's the one I am referring to.

Guys,
I may have made a decision: Bersa Compact Mini 9mm. I've read review after review and they all say it's as good and small as the .380, and it's in my price range. The problem is that naturally there is not a single specimen available in the known universe! GRRRRR. The full size Bersa 9 is available at my Academy with a 17+1 capacity, and I'm sure it's a hell of a gun, but it's huge.
Oh, if any of you guys happen to have one that you wanna' sell, I'd love to hear from you.
Embalm Oh!
