I'll bring this one back from the dead.
I just registered here yesterday and apparently i'm the 500 member so i win a big prize! OK, maybe not.
Anyways, i found this site through someones sig line on Glocktalk.com
I have lived in the Ft.Worth area (Euless to be specific) for the last 5 years. I just moved back to San Antonio on 1 February.
A little back ground info. I am a white male coming up on 37 years of life experience. I am a former Devil Dog (6 years) and a combat veteran of Operation Desert Shield/Storm. I've had my Texas CHL since April 2003 and i carry a Glock 30. I usually shoot at Braken here in San Antonio although i have been to A Place To Shoot a couple times.
I like long walks in the park.......ooopps, wrong site!
Have a nice day ladies and gents.

Welcome Show Killer. I like the screen name. Congrats on being number 500. Sorry I'm not the prize person this week.
We have several members who post over at GT. I visit there but rarely post.

Thanks to everyone that has welcomed me.
As far as my service goes, i would do it all over again if given the chance. I did my 6 and got out on an Honorable Discharge and i have no regrets.
Personally I believe every American should do a hitch in the Armed Forces for atleast 2 years. I bet we'd have a lot less people complaining about us using military force if they were the ones defending our freedom.
Anyways, during Desert Shield/Storm i was a M60-E3 machine gunner with H&S Company 3rd battalion 6th Marines out of Camp LeJeune. We went over about 20 December 1990 and came home in late April of 1991. I volunteered and went back to Saudi from June 1991 - October 1991 as part of a security detail while they reloaded the MPS ships. Good times!

I'm definately up for a shooting exhibition. I haven't been to the range in about 9 months so it's high time i went out there. Shoot me a pm or something when you're in town and if i'm not working we'll do it.

Since that is a couple of days trip when we go it is always planned ahead of time. Since Micah is a Drill Instructor his schedule is a mess sometimes & especially right after he get a new flight. My hope is that I can get a PM to all the forum guys that live there & meet up at a park or out at the range for a visit before the shoot. When wishing wish big.

Welcome! If you go into your "profile" at the top of the page you can check to have an email sent to you everytime a post has been hit. It works just like Glocktalk.
