The above link will take you to the NRA's National Firearms Museum in Fairfax, VA.

You may view the videos for each of the 15 galleries in the museum. Each video will
run from about 1M,30S to 2.00 M long, so watching all 15 will take you about 25 minutes.

There's some interesting weapons in these videos, which are arranged in chronological order.
It's hard to believe that after the Civil War, major shooting events were held in Long Island, NY
and in New Jersey, since they are generally perceived to be non-2A friendly.

There are more avenues to examine than just the 15 gallery videos I have noted.
NRA will be adding more to this website as time goes on.

SIA, this has to be the thread of the month! Thank you for posting it! :tiphat:

Good grief! The kids room in Gallery 12, "For The Fun Of It", looks exactly like my room when I was a kid, right down to the Davy Crockett coonskin cap hanging off the Longhorns. :txflag: I used to go to the indoor shooting gallery with my best friend Ricky, as his dad owned one in Fort Worth on the Casino Beach on Lake Worth.

When I watched Gallery 14, "Freedom's Doorway", I got goose bumps all over. :patriot:

I'm saving this to my favs. This is priceless. Thanks again.

You are welcome sir.

I was amazed at the world's largest shotgun that can hold 1.5 pounds of shot!!

How about those coins shot either through the middle or struck on the edge?
