My thoughts and prayers go out to all those involved in the horrific events that took place today at Fort Hood, TX. So far 12 dead and 31 wounded, the shooter (so far only 1 person identified as the shooter) was killed by a civilian police officers on the base. Unfortunately, the officer was also killed in the gunfire exchange.

Please prayer for these folks as their lives have changed forever.

My apologies, the shooter is not dead (DAMN!), but on a positive note the officer that shot him has be eroneously reported as dead (she is in stable condition after surgery). 12 dead, 31 wounded.

It is acceptable. We pray a lot on this board.

According to Hannity as of 8:35 pm , the shooter is NOT dead. Which in my opinion is a win-lose situation. Maybe we will someday know what really happened and why it happened. Then again , the shooter should be treated the same way he treated his victims, but if he survives, he will likely survive for many years to come in prison whether he gets the death penalty or not.

This is a horrible situation. Sadly one that is happening more and more often it seems.


I wonder, how would this situation have ended if the soldiers in that base where allowed to open or concealed carry. Of course I'm sure that side of the story wont be brought up, more likely the fact it was a "Semi Automatic" Handgun (supposedly) that was used in this CRIME will be and how bad those semi auto guns are.


My prayers to the families of the wounded and the deceased, they will need them.

Father we don't understand your plan sometimes, but we have faith all will work to your glory.
Father please comfort the families of these brave soldiers that have been killed .
Father please guide all medical personnel and save the wounded this we ask in Jesus name.

Jesus please hold these soldiers close and comfort their families. Amen
