I did not catch all the story other than it went like this. A group of officers were in a holding cell with a suspect ( mental issue/ drug issue) He became violent throwing the bed and furniture around. This person was very large and I mean 32 waist 50 chest. He had told my buddy that he did not want the cuffs on, and looked around at the seven officers and stated they would not have enough to win this fight. All but Ed left the room hurriedly and left Ed to fend for himself (great friends). After a few moments Ed grew his taser and fired, both darts connected but before the taser activated the suspect had pulled the dart. After a few more minutes of talking, the fellow calmed down, they were eventually able to give him a shot and he ended up restrained but never had THE CUFFS. He told me that he would not be able to get off a round because the guy was too close and probably would have been all over ED if he would.

This persons brother is a pro football player, he was jacked up on Cocaine. Ed is very lucky that he was able to talk this guy into submission.

An edit to my story, there was two officers and 5 hospital staff, the staff left, the officers stayed.
They were at St Lukes in a patient care room, the suspect was mentally unstable, why??drugs, mental issues

Also Ed stated he would not want to be there after this person woke up and he was in restraints
