Things may have changed since I made my purchases, but here's what I saw while looking for Ammo in Lubbock:

.45 ACP: Randy over at West Texas Military Surplus on 34th has decent prices (Considering today's going rates).
.410 Pistol: Designed for the Taurus Judge, 4 pellets of 000 buck,12.99 or so at Walmart (the stores on Quaker and 82nd street).
.380: IN STOCK @ Sharp Shooters and Jerry's (Over $30 per box of 50 for American Eagle).

I was nice and only bought what I needed (Except on .380, don't have one but planning to buy one in Feb. so I got 1 box). If any of the Lubbock Area People are looking for those loads then thats where I found them. Also, saw tons of .38/.357, 9mm and .40S&W, 44 mag. One place had their only 50ct box of .41 mag marked at $80, Sadly I saw a guy buy it. For your laugh of the week A guy over at Academy claims there isn't any .45 ACP being made anymore because Obama says nothing larger than .40 is legal anymore, I just walked away when said something about looking at a 9mm handgun.

I'm beginning to wonder if Academy is getting their employees from the pool that can't pass the literacy test for wal-mart counter help

I was in Lubbock at a Girl's Fast Pitch Tournment last weekend.
I hit all of the Waldo Marts and only found three boxes of Federal .223 Bulk Packs.
No 9mm, .45acp, .38spl or .357mag.

None, nada, not any.

All three of the Walmarts I visited had 9mm and 38 special. The one on the loop and quaker had .357 mag on Thursday. .45 ACP was only available at Gander mountain and the various gun shops. The Walmart in Seminole has enough .223 to supply a small revolution so I didn't pay attention to what was available in Lubbock.
