Well , its been a month since I've been so my trigger finger was getting itchy.
Went to Shiloh Indoor Range to empty some brass.
I employed a new tactic which was discussed on another thread ...Keeping both eyes open.
I found it to be very easy and natural . It seems to help with keeping aware of your surroundings
while engaging your target unlike using one eye that may result in slight tunnel vision .
I also practiced..
-point and shoot.
-drawing from the holster and shooting.
-shooting one handed.
-shooting off handed.
-clearing malfunctions.
I used my primary gun (Taurus pt 145) and my pocket pistol (Ruger LCP) equally.
All shooting done in rapid fire , two and three shot bursts at 21feet.
Here's my results.

Yes , I was also aiming for the pelvis.

Holy Cow!! Let me get this straight...you tried shooting differently (with both eyes open) AND rapidly? AND you shot that good? If I go to the range and try something new or different, my target looks like my dog was shooting at it.
I'm impressed...that's some good shooting right there.

Good grief USA1! That's some mighty fine paper punching!

Seriously, very good!
In honor of your very successful shoot, while you were at the range, I thoroughly stripped and cleaned my Colt.
You
DID say 21 feet and not 2 feet, correct?

Thanks Joe .
Yes
21 feet.
I actually moved the target back to 30 feet for several rounds but it was too hard to see the holes.
