Thank you to all for all of the various posts throughout this forum. I thought I would post that I have been approved after over a year of waiting - all my fault - and now I am waiting the plastic. My "revised" goal was to receive the plastic by Thanksgviging, now I will wait to see how long it takes for it to travel 10 miles.

Wow! And I thought I was bad at procrastinating about taking the class! You win the gold star procrastinator's award! Just kidding! Gosh, if you got approved on Friday, you may have it in your mailbox tomorrow!

Thanks ammo and joe -- I had several emails with DPS on my application being close to being expired... "one year=one year"

WOW! Only 7 days from class to processing, AND ONLY 30 DAYS from processing to approved! Is this some kind of record? Gives me hope!
