I pray they catch it soon. It's got nothing to loose now, by taking out as many people as it can. He ceased by being a man when he did those things to those children. It's an it now. :mad5

I didn't understand the precautions at Lee College. LC is probably 5 miles from I-10, clear across town.

I live within a mile of I-10 and will be eating lunch along the freeway. I might pack more hardware than usual today.

A command center has been set up at Highway 146 and I-10, which is where Comeaux was last seen.
Baytown police tell us Lee College in Baytown is on lockdown, as are Carver Elementary, Lee High School and Peter E. Hyland Center in the Goose Creek ISD.
Again, none of these campuses are anywhere near where this Channel 13 report claims he was last seen. But a friend heard that near Lee College was where he actually escaped.

The pieces aren't fitting together yet.

Could have been smuggled in a rotten ham......at least that is how it happened a few years back.

According to the map the Chronicle has posted, the escape happened right next to Lee College.

Incidents like this just give us more ammo for when people ask "Why would you want to carry a gun at college?"

Channel 13 just reported that he forced them to drive around for an hour, apparently changing clothes in the process.

Man, we've got Rangers, Marshals, SO, locals, DPS checking vehicles armed with shotguns. Most excitement around here for a while. It appears this was focused around the Garth Rd./Decker Drive intersection. They reported searching the vacant, old San Jacinto Methodist hospital building on Decker.

Around 4pm, I drove by the earlier announced command center, but it wasn't there. Clearly, activity had already been concentrated elsewhere.

Bad guy locked up the two TDCJ officers and abandoned the van at the old San Jacinto Hospital behind Sterling Library, which is 2 blocks from Lee College.

While watching the news last night, I was sickened by the fact that this person has been repeatedly released from prison after reoffending.

And it appears he was in the van because he had requested the move to a different facility.

Last night's news stated they thought he could be anywhere in the state and today they thought he was in the Bryan-College Station area.

They locked down a few schools in the area and lots of cops were out. They finally found who they had through was the bad guy, but apparently the poor sucker was just a lookalike. Now they're guessing he was never in the BCS area. Makes me frustrated I can't carry at work when I hear things liket his.

John Moriarty, the prison system's inspector general, who is heading the investigation and search for Comeaux, said the escapee's medical condition and mobility are part of the ongoing investigation into what happened. He declined to comment further.
I think I see the problem: a brain-damaged chihuahua could already have established all they need to know about the guy's "mobility issues."

I knew this inmate. I was a sgt at the high security facility he was at during that time. About 03-04. He was disgusting, claimed he couldn't walk. Which most of us doubted but the friendly medical doctors and nurse's believed him. He would wear diapers, be covered in waste and his whole cell was the same. We hated ever having to pull him out and search him or his cell. I can guarantee you that someone didn't do a proper strip search on him because of this. Now I have no idea how he was still able to escape out of that van. Those guards would have to get out and open the door from the outside and remove his metal restraints. There's more than what is being told. I was a LT before I resigned and it really irritates me because I just don't understand how this could happen. I have done dozens of transports like this over my career. Especially if he didn't do it without outside help. I wonder if the weapon he brandished was even a real one. Not too many inmates have actually gotten a real gun inside the prison. I can only recall of two stories and they were from long ago. Usually they make fake ones and just rely on scarring people to think they are real. Frustrated!!!
