Guys,

I posted this on the BersaTalk forum about the new BTUC not having the magazine safety that the Bersa .380 has and it was censored. Now I gotta' know if this forum has the same ridiculous filter on a gun forum. Cock

Guys,

Good! I like to **** and decock when I'm cleaning without having to empty the magazine and poke it in. Seriously, I'm glad that someone posted this, 'cause I was wondering that too.

Not censored here but I frequent another board that it is.

I think that this board is not censored by software because Charles set it up for adults and treats us that way. We have the ten-year-old-child rule and we obey it. So, if a word has multiple meanings we can still use it for the proper meaning. Human judgment and maturity will beat software censors every time, in my opinion.

Guys,

It may not seem like a big deal to their moderators, but cock is a very commonly used gun term and it just drives me nuts when a forum of adults is treated that way! Hmm, now that I think of it they probably banned nuts too.

yeah, try missing out on the big advertised "all firearms prices marked down 75% for the next 10 minutes" and you, yourself, have absolutely no idea what "*Thingys* Sporting Goods" referred to in the post means.

The language nanny software on some sites can really cause problems

The forum does use language filters for words that have a single meaning. And, while we are mainly adults on this forum, there are children who read it also. That is why the 10 year old daughter guideline was established. And, for the most part, the members do a very good job of keeping their posts within the guidelines. :thumbs2:
