D Frame Colts and Speedloaders: Possible Solution

Jim Badger was kind enough to re-cut my custom grips.

Kinda hard to see, but he took thickness off the left, upper thumb groove.

Much more narrow on the left side and helps line up the speedloaders.

Jim's just the best!

Well executed! I had a similar issue using speedloaders with my Redhawks. I bought cheap sets of spare factory grips and used the Dremel and sanding drum to remove the necessary material to get clearance. Then restained the sanded wood to match.

Of course, I wouldn't have done this with expensive custom grips.
