quote from article:
"Jonathan Spencer, consultant forensic scientist and firearms expert, said that although the gun, which fires bullets at a speed of 399 feet a second, was tiny, it could still prove fatal and in the eyes of the law was as dangerous as a machine gun."
As dangerous as a machine gun.......
oh, the article did go on to say that the mean old bullets could possibly penetrate the skin.
funny stuff.
I seem to remember some tiny revolvers advertised in the back of comic books back in the late 50's-early 60's... but you had to get your Mom or Dad to order... I never did get one of those...

300 mph = 440 fps.
The bullet is a 2.34 mm diameter. That is roughly a nominal .092 caliber. I can't imagine that the bullet weighs more than about 10 grains or so. The idea that this thing is as "dangerous" as a machine gun is absolutely preposterous. Like they say, if you shoot somebody with it and they find out about it...

Guys,
"The gun is banned from being imported into the US - because it's barrel is less than three inches, meaning it is deemed too small to qualify for sporting purposes."
Huh? 2 out of my 4 guns have barrels that are less than 3 inches, 1 of which is imported from Brazil, and none of the 4 would qualify for sporting purposes. Did some new laws get passed this afternoon when I took a nap?
