I was just noticing a nice belt holster for sale.

I was also wondering what which was the most popular method of securing the holster to the belt and why you prefer that particular type of holster. Hence the question: "Belt Holster or Belt Snaps or Clip?"

If you have to put it on and take it off frequently, the snaps have appeal, especially if your pants have a belt loop where the center of the holster goes. Never saw a clip holster other than for IWB, and they won't give enough stability to be worn outside the belt. Two clips might be a possibility.

This one won't pull out. And the roughout leather on the inside won't let go of the gun until you give it a good pull:

I use belt snap holsters. I have a High Noon "Snapper" and recently ordered a 1 SL holster (with snaps) from Ray at Logo Gunleather. Ray was great to deal with and customized the cant for my particular requirement.
