Hi Forum,
Can't seem to find any reviews on this stuff. How does it compare to others, i.e. M-Pro-7, FP-10, etc.
Thanks

I use Mobil 1 - - - for what you pay for 2-4 ounces of gun oil you can get a quart of Mobil 1.
Most of the so called gun oils are no better and most times not as efficient as a quality synthetic motor oil. S&W recommends Mobil 1 in their armorers school, if memory serves me, so does Sig and Glock.

Mobil 1 is the only way to go. I have tried several different kinds over the years and it is by far the best. I bought a couple small plastic oiler bottles at the last gun show to make applying it easier.
thanks,
George

Mobil 1 ? Never would've thought to use that. I'll give it a try. Good suggestion about the oiler bottles, too. Thanks MoJo and gfmun

Do you fellers recommend a multi-weight oil so your good to go on start up and after the gun warms up?

On a serious note ...I never considered using motor oil. I assume a lighter weight oil would be better?
