At work a Customer got SUPER upset we were open for MLK Day, checking her appointment History she had come in on Easter and 4th of July....

Surely you don't think that she thought MLK day should sorta' be like a free day...for her?

Surely you don't think she would have listened to logic anyway. If she would she wouldn't have been upset that you were open on MLK day.

wonder if she resents hospitals being open or police/fire services being available?

I had to work on MLK Day. stopped for gas and fountain refill. nobody complained
