I thought this was interesting. It is a quote from the Metropolitan Police Chief in London.
Maybe the tide is turning a little in my homeland?
Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Paul Stephenson said people who put themselves in danger to tackle criminals should be celebrated as "heroes".
Courageous members of the public "make our society worthwhile", he said as part of a widening political debate about the rights of people to use force to defend themselves.

EU moral depravity knows no bounds. Because of that, Stephenson will undoubtedly be forced to apologize for his statements and face discipline for being so ignorant as to suggest that it is acceptable to not just sit there and take your beating like a good docile subject.

I used to admire the notion of Brit's "stiff upper lip" .... now I think it's just stiff because they keep taking punches while refusing to raise their gloves to guard their face, much less throw a counter punch.

I would post on this topic but I am at a loss for words. Thanks again Great Britain for making me speechless. Its amazing that I am a descendent of that place. It had to have been the boat ride over, there must have been something that took place across the Atlantic that turned girly men into warriors.
Its okay Brits, dont get mad, just make a carmel machiatto with two splendas and a dash of cinamon and sprinkle drops of water on your face to calm down.

Wait a minute it all makes sense now. All the warriors left England to come here leaving the weenies behind. Therefore the weenies are being ruled by the weenies. DUH, why I didnt I think of that earlier.
Maybe we could send our sniveling wimps back across the Atlantic and they could send their remaining warriors here. Its perfect!

Are these the same 'weenies' that are standing (and dying) shoulder to shoulder with the US in Afghanistan and Iraq?

You mean the same guys that stood shoulder to shoulder with me when I served in the US Marine Corp for 10 years as a Shoulder fired Multi purpose Assault Weapon gunner (SMAW). Nope I wasnt referring to them.
