If a man can pull a gun on his own son, simply for
cussing and spotty church attendance, an assumption
could be made that the man doesn't have a Tennessee CHL
since his anger managment problems over the years have
made him "an illegible person."
Can I get an Amen, brothers and sisters??

He should have just had his wife smack the son in the back of the head with her wedding ring hand. Sure did the trick for me. And i agree, if he's that draw happy he shouldn't be carrying.

Yes, the article mentions that he had no license and the judge would require he not have a firearm. Not to mention the son is 32 years old. I was hurt when our 24 yo son deciding to stop attending church services anywhere, but it was his decision. If I had not instilled the thought into him by then, there wouldn't be much else I could say.
BTW, most of the mother goose rhymes were really political satire of the time. The poem "Goosey Goosey Gander" was about state religion with civil sentences imposed for not attending church. Last line says "There I met an old man who would not say his prayers. I took him by the left leg, and threw him down the stairs."

Sounds like the type of person that feels like he is big and bad because he has a "big iron on his hip."
I think there is another reference to an old country song in here too...oh yes.
Don't take your guns to town son
Leave your guns at home Bill
Don't take your guns to town
