If I may, I have a prayer request...

We learned today that my father passed away this morning. We think he had a massive heart attack and is now reunited with my mother with the saints in glory.

Please pray for my wife and I to have safe passage to England to be with my family. My dad was 79 and had previously had heart bypass surgery some 10 years ago but was showing no signs of illness prior to the fatal attack. He died before he hit the floor doing what he loved best, tinkering around the house. In actual fact he died with a hammer and wrench in his hand about to do some home repair work.

He sometimes wasn't the easiest of people to get along with, he was head strong and outspoken and his old Royal Navy days stayed with him until the end. His house was always 'ship shape and Bristol fashion'.

Prayers are quested for my setpmum to give her the strength and comfort she needs at this time.

Thank you. :tiphat:

I will pray for you today too. When your Dad has a little extra time after Family reunion, Worship at the Throne, & "Touring That City" Maybe he can find my Dad who was Navy too. Just 1/2 a world away in the Pacific.
May God bless & keep you thrugh the journey & return you home safe.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. My wife and I are safely back home yeserday after a fairly emotional trip across the pond.

My father, it turned out, had a cerebral infarction and died instantly doing something he loved, tinkering around the home. His funeral service was very fitting. Delivering the euolgy was hard, but something I just felt I had to do.

Thank you all again.
