I thought it would be cool to have a thread where we could brag about our newest "family" additions. I did a search for similar threads but didn't see anything so if this is a "reprint" I apologize.

Last week, for a belated Valetines gift my wife went a bought me a brand new( I almost never buy brand new) Sig p229 .40 . I had 1 before but circumstances forced me to sell it. I sure missed it. And just after the new year began I found a used Kimber Pro Carry Stainless for a steal at my local gun shop. So all in all this year has started off pretty sweet!

What about you guys, any new additions?

Congrats!! My latest gun was a month ago when we inherited my wife's grandfather's Winchester 12 gauge. It's been to Eagle Peak twice killing clay pigeons. Money gets spent and heirlooms rot in the attic, but a gun last forever and brings families together; it's a wonderful way to remember a great old man. Before that it was Christmas/birthday and I got my Bersa UC9.

My dad handed down his Colt Mustang .380 which at the time I knew nothing about.
I've come to find that this is a pretty saught after handgun with an original MSRP of around 200 bucks and now worth around 800.00.
He told me if I got it workin I could have it, so lots of scrubbing and lube later it's a second chance champ! 6"-7" groups at somethin like 10 yards. Not the best but I'm a medic, not a champion shooter. I like it....especially for free!

I bought a new kel-tek pf9 for summer carry I think it will be especially nice for when I am walking on the beach in my swim trunks and can't quite hide my glock

I have been wanting a higher end full size 1911 for a long time and I was finally able to get my Les Baer Thunder Ranch a few weeks ago. It shoots like a dream! I figured that I would post a picture since this is SHOW and TELL.

My most recent purchase was a Dan Wesson Classic Bobtail in .45....

I purchased a Stoeger Cougar about a month ago. Stoeger Industries is a subsidiary of Beretta. The Stoeger Cougars are made in Turkey using the same machinery that Beretta used to make the original Cougars. It is every bit the quality of the Beretta. The Stoeger 8000 in 9mm is identical to the
Beretta Cougar L Type P (Cougar L slide, lighter barrel and beveled slide, but with a full-length magazine).

I've owned one before and it was a great gun. I spotted this one for under $200

Polish P64 is my most recent (Thursday). Prior to that, it was a KelTec P3AT (about 2 weeks ago I'd guess). I had one before but sold it...I wish I hadn't. And right before that (December) it was the PT101's they had on sale @ Academy.

My most recent purchase was a pawn shop find. A Springfield Loaded with some holster wear (character) on it, a done hume IWB holster, and a wilson combat mag. All for $400 out the door. The guns looks carried lots, shot little. I'm happy

That's one heck of a deal man, good eye.The best deals always seem to be the ones you just happen to stumble upon.

Latest purchase was a Glock 26 w/night sights I purchased two weeks ago at the gun show from Bachman - those guys have great prices. I plan to carry the 26 when the CHL process is finalized. Also just purchased a smartcarry type of holster off of ebay called lightningwear. I'll post a review after having spent some time with it, but initial impressions are good.

A co-worker needed money so I bought his New Ruger P95D in stainless for $200.00

This is my newest gun its a Gen 4th Glock model 22 in 40 S&W and it now has Nightsights.
