Went to the Ft. Worth Gun Show today expecting to walk in and find exactly what I was looking for in no time which was the Kahr PM9 with the DLC Black Stainless slide and factory night sights. Well, after looking at every major handgun vendor there, I found very little Kahrs and NO Black PM9s! The closest I came was a PM40 which I figured would be painful to shoot with extended sessions as well as a bit jumpy for such a small package. Then I called 8 or 9 close shops and all said they carry them but had none with a few saying they are not getting as many Kahrs in. So on a whim, I swung by Military Gun Supply just to poke around and there they had a PM9 with the Black DLC slide and regular sights. $679 +tax came out to $730 ish for the PM9 and paid $185 for the crimson trace. Night sights are already ordered and hopefully installed at the beginning of next week. Thanks for looking!

Nice pistol, we need a range report

With everyone getting new guns, I really feel left out. Might have to head down to the gun shop monday and see whats new. I could really use a DPMS SASS .308 or a Kimber Warrior, or a Les Baer HC .40, or a Vaquero, or LWRC, I should just quit now, I won't be able to sleep.

Same here...

I'm building an AR -15 and I'm itching to just drop the hammer and buy all the parts to get me shooting. But that wouldn't be fiscally responsible now would it?

Looks good! I'm glad to hear your persistence paid off and you got what you wanted.

Thanks everyone. I was a little frustrated that the very shop I bought it from told me on the phone they had none. Not raging furious, but certainly irked me a bit when I was on such a hunt. Ordered night sights but alas they are back ordered so it will be a week or two before I can get it to be EXACTLY what I originally wanted. Range report either later today or wednesday day depending on what all I can get done today.

Nice Gun!!! I was at the Ft Worth gun show too and bought a Kahr PM-9 with the stainless slide with night sights. My brother and I got there about 9:30 and I was on a mission to find that particular setup. Hope to go to the range Friday when I get off work.
