I have two Tauri's that I am wanting tuned... the 709 for concealed carry. That is, everything polished smooth and silky.
Then my 24/7 OSS that I want to use in competitions, so I need a trigger job on that along with polishing. Anyone have a recommendation of a pistol smith?
Thanks!
Wayne

John R. Barr in Houston is great with 1911 race guns. He did some work for me on my Smith K22 that really did the trick. I pm'd you his information.

On the 24/7 the internals that matter should already be smooth and polished to a mirror finish. Those internals being the SA sear and the DA sear (separate sears) and the tab on the striker. There really isn't much more you can do, with this design, other than shooting it to wear parts.
I don't have any experience with the 709, so I can't comment on it.
