Hello,

I have a question and i apologize in advance if it has already been asked. MY wife took her class May 09, of last year. It has been a crazy year and we are just sitting down to make sure all the forms are in order and send the packet out in the mail. I have been looking all over the info, and through the statute handbook she received to verify that we have one year after she completed the course to turn in the application. I can't find the info anywhere. :banghead: . It could just be that i am tired and missing it after doing yard work all day i don't know. Anyways, does anyone know how long you have to send in your packet after taking the class? is it a year before it expires? thanks. - Rob

I believe if one does the application online and pays with a credit card, the clock starts ticking for 1 year from that date. Unless something in the "admin rules" has changed, the manual applications with (no-longer-in-use, but still recognized) 4-part NCR paper TR-100s are valid for 2 years from the first date indicated on the TR-100 (of which, y'all should have the white copy).

Yes that is what we have. the White TR-100 with the date of 05/09/09. thanks. hopefully that will be ok. i just don't want to send in the app., pay the fee, and then have the her get denied because it was no longer good. then we would be out 140 $. that would not make my day. in all honesty we should have just made this top priority and sent it in right after the she took the class.
