I just sent e-mails to Katy Mills Mall, AMC Theaters, and Jarred about their 30.06 signs. I think it might do some good if enough of us write. None of these are places I can't live without but I still would like the signs to come down. Besides I don't want these businesses to think the signs don't hurt their business.

All AMC theaters in this area are posted, don't think you will be the first to let them know how you feel. I also don't think they're going to budge on removing them. All Jarreds locations are 30.06 posted too I believe as well.

That's OK. I just think it does them good to hear from us. I heard Taco Cabana's are posted but I haven't seen one yet.

We even have one here in SA that is a 51% location according to their signs they post up.

So do I. The Jarreds at The Rim has 51% signs on the front doors. I would not have believed it if I did not see it myself.

I just want to know where they got the signs (real 51% with wording and everything) and how they think that they apply to their business.

Maybe you need a few drinks after you see the prices...

I think it's part of their sales strategy, you can buy her a ring and get her drunk without even having to make 2 stops

Or maybe its to get you drunk enough to spend the money on the ring...to bad they really dont sell booze there.

I do not want to imagine how much booze would they have to sell in order to be 51%

Taco Cabana has gotten rid of their non-30.06 signs thanks to a letter writing campaign.

Are there any others that known for being posted that I might not of heard of yet?

Katy Mills is posted? I haven't noticed, I will have to check it next time I'm over there. Just need an excuse to swing by the Bass Pro Shop.
