A girl who was in my student ministry group at First Baptist Church - Friendswood needs your prayers. She's now in college and is having testing, including a biopsy, done to rule out lymphoma. She's a great girl and a wonderful student leader.

Even though it's unlikely she has lymphoma, it's still scary for anyone, especially a young person. Due to a family history of cancer, she hasn't told her parents because she doesn't want them to panic. Now that's a brave kid; going through this alone to protect her loved ones.

Please pray for my friend.

Lord Jesus, You know this young lady far better than we do. She is a servant in your Kingdom at an early age. We ask you to grant her length of ministry that is healthy. She has chosen to not tell her parents but her Heavenly Father knows.
Your presence is peace.

We will be praying for her. My wife and I both know how the testing is. You hurry to do the test and the wait is terrible until you get the answer.
