I realize your post said ftf only, but I just saw 3 Rock Island "pieces" at "my" new gun store - "Black Gold guns and ammo. The guys there are resonably friendly enough. I'd say tell them mctowalot sent you, but they might jack up the price on you.

Hey !That's MY gun store ! :totap:
I guess I couldn't keep it all to myself for long. :lol:

Gordon is great. His prices are very fair and he usually has the most sought after ammo in stock.

Also just an FYI...Tomball Pawn has the RIA for $439 ;-)

I can picture him leaning on the counter and saying, "now now boys, there's plenty of 'ol Gordon to go around". I can picture it but I wish I couldn't - kinda disturbing!
I believe he had three brandnew Rock Island .45s, "small" thru "large" and they were running around $450.00, give or take a few bucks.
I still don't understand why Charles insisted on measuring me for my IWB holster, especially since I said I already had one... :shock:
Edit: Sorry Gordon, but you can blame Charles and his "your Glock 30 is here and someone alse wants to buy it do you still want it?" phone call for that.

Just count yourself lucky that you haven't had the "you paid HOW MUCH for that thing?!" Here, look at my Kimber" talk.
I've had that twice now. Nevertheless I like stopping by and showing him how the other half live "rlol"

There's no website. There's no sign out front. There's no advertising.
It's word of mouth and referrals only.

There is a big ole German Shepherd that will greet you at the door though. :shock:
I usually wait for Gordon to call him off before I walk in. ;-)

Actually there is a website - http://www.blackgoldguns.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

And there is now a sign. Just doesn't say "guns" on it.

Oh and Justice is a pussycat :smilelol5:
