Ok the law says that the letters have to be one inch tall what if they are taller than one inch?

In reference to sign specifications, PC 30.06(c)(3)(B)ii reads "appears in contrasting colors with block letters at least one inch in height; and" [no typo here, just quoting it verbatim]

In the 2003-2004 edition of my CHL statutes handbook, it is on page 28, in the lower third.
