Confused What was Henry thinking?

I just can not help it. I was reading a scouting magazine and came across an ad for a Henry Golden Boy "Eagle Scout" rifle. As I started to read the ad and it peaked my interest, I came across the following.

"Neil Armstrong,Micheal Bloomberg and President Gerald Ford are among numerous captains of industry, astronauts, athletes, politicians and celebrities that call themselves Eagle Scouts."

As a scout leader and a 2nd admendment supporter I was shocked!!!! Do you think Henry knows their target audience? Maybe they think Bloomberg his going to help their sales. And as far as the scouting he should not be aloud to call himself an Eagle Scout. It just tarnishes the name.

WOW, I believe I would fire the marketing department asap.

Personally I find it funny that one of the most rabid anti-gunners gets his name mentioned in a gun ad that looks like he supports the firearm and/or its ownership.

It's doubly ironic that he's their mayor. Henry Repeating Arms is headquartered in Brooklyn.

I never thought of it that way!!!!! "rlol"

I did email Henry. It just seemed to rub me wrong. I hated to see gun owners and scouts names tarnished all in the same ad. I got a response back very quick. I got a message from their President, Anthony Imerato. He agreed how crazy it was. He then went on to say that they farmed it out and were going to change it asap.
