Good red dot for a Rem 870 Express?

I'm trying to find out what would be a good red dot for a Remington 870 express. I'm trying to convery my old skeet gun into more of a HD. Going to replace the stock with the Remington ShurShot stock, and get the remington rail system for the 870.
And since the wife is informed on the decision, I'd like to keep it below $150 (for the sight)

This may sound corny, and cheesy, but the little Red Dot you can get at Walmart, or academy, or Gander Mtn, (Bushnell I think)... I paid $50 for it. Put it on the wife's Mossy 500, and it has successfully taken out a rattle-bug within 10 yards. It has the red dot, with 11 intensity levels. Easily manipulate the windage and elevation if needed to quickly assess center mass. Has done well with buckshot 20g, and slugs. Battery has lasted us so far a year. YMMV.

Those BSA,Bushnell around $40-$50 should work just fine.I will get bigger objective one so I can shoot with both eyes open since it's a HD gun.

I'd suggest that you just continue using the iron sights and instead spend the money on a quality weapon light. But if you insist on a red-dot then I've heard good things about the Primary Arms Gen2 Micro Dot:

Let me know where you're getting those for under $150 and I'll buy a dozen.

I ended up with a Vortex Strikefire, it's pretty nice and it seems like you get a lot for the money.

I actually forgot I posted that answer but as I (re)read the OP for what I thought was the first time, I thought to myself....a T-1 Micro would be great if he had a bigger budget....
MY BAD....
Almost quote my earlier post with my agreement and then criticizing the lack of noticing the cost.

The cheapest one possible. That way, when it comes loose and ends up in the weeds or mud, you won't be too upset. Come to think of it, buy three.

Is it a vent rib barrel? If not then a cheap alternative is the snap on fiber optic dot from Tru-Glo. These run about $20 and come in several colors. They snap down over the shape of the barrel right behind the bead site. No batteries, no switches. Fast, Bright and cheap!

Academy has some of those on clearance for $5 (was 20) and the plain barrel models for $10 (got one to try, getting another today).

Truglo TG8030B2 Red Dot 30mm 2X
use it on my winchester 1300 defender.
i have a knoxx compstock on it too, and i believe its the reason the truglo has held up so well after over 2000 shells, around 500 of which were slugs, and a lot of em were 000 and 00, and a handful of birdshot.
never needed to zero it in after the first zeroing.
