About 2 hrs ago I traded a Kel-Tec p32 for a Taurus Ultralite 5shot 38. The only thing I didn't like about the 38 is the hammer spur. I know I don't need to tell everyone this, but the spur snags when trying to draw from a pocket. Well, i fixed the problem. I pulled out the trusty ole dremel and bobbed the hammer then polished it a little. It only took me about 30 min to do the job. Does it look professional? No but it is functional and it is a TOOL and it no longer snags coming out of the pocket.

Yes I know....the thing needs a good bath and it will have one in the morning

I made the trade with a co-worker and it was his idea. His wife wouldnt shoot the 38 and wanted something smaller so it looks like it worked out for me and her.

I know it is April 1st, but I just need to mention something to you. You are aware that the level of spring tension used to power the hammer is dependent on the weight of the hammer? If you change it substantially, you may not get the needed power to properly strike the primer. I would think you might be wise to do lots of testing prior to trusting your life to it. If you don't get any light primer strikes, you should be good to go.

I have thought about the spring tension as well and plan to do some testing as suggested
