I just received this holster in the mail last night. I really like it so far. I may me "too much man" to carry my 1911 in my little jetta but it works great outta the car ;)

What I'm more impressed with is the belt. This is the most comfortable belt I've ever worn. The pack of cherry lifesavers was a nice touch too :)

Any long term CB users have any advice?

I have been using one for about 3 months and don't have anything but good things to say. It will only get more comfortable due to the leather breaking in and conforming to your body. I like it so much I purchased one for my Bersa Thunder.

I recently recieved a Mini-Tuck for my LCP.I have not recieved my plastic yet so i just wear it around the house when i can.Its pretty comfy.
I wish i had not got it in Horsehide though.I read some threads where guys said it was more comfortable but the catalog that came with it says its more dense then cowhide, resists sweat more etc.Yeah Cherry lifesavers are sorta cool huh.Took 23 days for mine to come in.

I got my CB ST a couple of weeks ago and am loving it. Now my only complaint is that I didn't get any lifesavers with mine!

Why do you regret the horsehide decision? I have two horsehide Supertucks and I don't regret it at all.

I was thinking the cow hide might be a little more plyable and softer...But don't know anyone has one to compare.

Cowhide might be a little more pliable and softer, but the purpose of horse hide is that it's denser and more resistant to sweat, which is important during the summer months. I doubt there's a big difference between the two leathers except in their porosity. Like a good pair of boots, once the holster is broken in it's EXTREMELY comfortable because it molds to your body. I wear mine about 3:00, with the raised part right in front of my hip bone. I can almost forget I have it on, and that's with a steel 1911.

Give the horsehide a few weeks to break in and mold to your body. I have one of each (cowhide for my Walther PPS and horsehide for Glocks) and now that the horshide has broken in it's just as comfortable. And something about the finish on the cowhide regularly leaves little white specs of crud on my PPS (same thing happened when I had a cowhide for the Glocks as well). Looks like I ran the gun under my armpit and got antiperspirant all over it or something
