LOOKING TO TEST FIRE XD9 SUBCOMPACT

This is in the Austin area.

My daughter just got her CHL in January and wants to buy a Springfield XD9 subcompact. She has held them and generally likes the pistol. She just would like to shoot one before making the purchase (her first unassisted) if possible. If anyone in the audience here could assist us here we would be most appreciative.

She currently has a Glock 17 but wants something more concealable and a better (for her) grip.

Red's in Pflugerville has an XD9 with a 4" barrel which is our backup plan, but it would be good to for her to feel the shorter grip in action.

Thanks in advance.

Carl

My XD 9SC is a reliable joy to shoot and really quite accurate, all things considered.

OTOH, The double stack magazine is quite a bit thicker than a single stack 1911, etc.

My gf has one and loves it. We normally shoot at Red's South just about every weekend. We're probably not this coming weekend but most likely on May 15 or 16. I'm sure she won't mind.

I don't have a SC, but I have an XD9 that she is welcome to shoot. The trigger is not stock, nor are the sights, but to see if she likes how it feels I think it would work.

Edit: I could meet at Red's North, but I'm not free until after the 20th.
