Lasers for leftys?

I'm picking up a Glock 19 this weekend and am looking at the different laser options. I like the idea of the LaserMax Guide Rod Laser, but am not a big fan of having to turn the laser on with an additional motion. I started looking into the Crimson Trace lasers for Glocks, but they look kind of bulky and like they may cause issues for leftys who carry IWB.
Can anyone chime in on their left experience with IWB and various lasers?

Not sure why you think the Crimson Trace is bulky. I have them and they don't seem to add any bulk to my guns. Truthfully though, I never see the laser when shooting. Others see it, and my wife loves it as she actually uses it to aim, but my focus is on the front sight.

Well the CT laser housing sticks out on the right side of the grip. For a lefty putting that in an IWB holster, I am wondering if it sticks out far enough to cause discomfort or other issues.

Hmmm,
I see your point. I know it doesn't interfere with any of my holsters, and the laser is less then a ball point pen in diameter. And, it rides high when in holstered position.

I've also read that the base of the laser housing hits the second knuckle on a lefty's thumb that is extremely uncomfortable. Being a lefty can be rough some times!

Just have your spotter man the laser designator while you use the radio to call in an air strike. Then you don't have to worry about what hand it's in.

There aren't any grip laser for lefties. Only lasers for lefties are those that mount on the light rails. Been like this from the beginning.

I'm not surprised, being a lefty (hand not political leaning) has been a pain in lots of ways. We pay more for sports equipment and almost anything that is hand specific.
So does anyone besides LaserMax make a guide rod style laser? I'd love to see the LaserMax guide rod come in the green laser, but that'd probably cost $450+ and I'm not looking to spend 90% of the cost of my pistol for a laser.
