I'm wanting to have Meprolite sites (or some other brand) installed on my P2000sk. However, I'm not finding any locally and my local gunsmith is acting like it's something that HK is going to have to do for me.

Is this true? Does HK have to do the installation of night sights for me?

I know that there are no certified HK smiths outside of the HK factory. Maybe that's why they are hesitant in doing it.

And you may want to give Prodefense a call. They may put the sights on for you.

HK's sights are pretty straight forward. IF you've got the push tool, it shouldn't be too bad to change them... although I've never done it myself.
