So way back on December 28th, six days before I bought my LCP, I ordered 6 boxes of WWB .380 and 4 boxes of Hornady Critical Defense .380 from Cabelas. You see, I buy ammo and accessories for weapons I don't own when I am on the fence about whether or not to get them, then I can't back out. Anyway, the WWB was only 14.99/50 and the CD was 16.99/25 plus I got free shipping because the order was over $100 and had a $20 coupon, so all I had to pay was $150.93 for 400 rounds. Well they were supposed to be back ordered until 01/15......they shipped TODAY! Yes after over 5 months my Christmas present to myself finally shipped. After the first couple of weeks past the due date, I just stayed on the list out of principle, now, with the prices of .380 I am happy I waited. In the mean time, I have aquired a good stock of WWB and PDXI but I figure 30 cents a round for WWB was worth it the wait.

You poor thing I couldn't wait that long for ammo. You have more patience than I do. Sure glad you finally got it.

Does that mean I'll get my 500 rounds of WWB from Midway that I ordered 12/15/09 sometime before the expected in-stock date of 12/3/2010?

Thankfully I stumbled onto a shipment at Dick's back in March, so at least I'm not empty at the moment.

I thought I waited a long time I have been finding .380 in stores on a regular enough basis to getsome practice in and keep a couple of mags filled with SD rounds. I just left my name on the backorder list because the price was so low and I don't mind waiting. Here's to waiting the good wait.
